UCSC Bioneers Conference
We hope you will join the 3rd Annual UC Santa Cruz Bioneers Conference, a Bioneers Resilient Communities Network Event, on May 27-28 at Stevenson College.
Workshops, Guest Speakers, Artistic Performances, Local Artists, Dancing, and Delicious Food!

Themes for this year's conference include: Eco-nomics; Ecological Design; Ecological Literacy; Ecological Medicine; Every Women’s Leadership; Indigenous Knowledge; Justice: Racial, LGBT, Human Rights, Equity, Rights of Nature; Media; Nature, Culture, Spirit; Pre/Post Conference Intensive; Resilient Communities; Restorative Food Systems; Restoring the Bio-Sphere; and Youth Leadership.
The UCSC Bioneers Conference is free and open to the public.

Meals & Zero Waste
The UCSC Bioneers Conference is a zero-waste event, meaning we are working to significantly reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill. Please bring your own tupperware/dish, utensils, cup/mug/water bottle, and napkin if you plan on joining us for a meal at the conference.
Our vendors this year will be announced soon.
We will also have light breakfast snacks and coffee in the mornings (and coffee at lunch), provided by the Bagelry, Staff of Life, and Community Agroecology Network AgroEco Coffee.
Getting to Campus
We encourage attendees to consider the most environmentally sustainable method that they can use to arrive to campus for the conference. Here are the various ways to reach Stevenson College at UC Santa Cruz (coming soon)
What to Bring
-- Your own tupperware/dish, utensils, cup/mug, and napkin if you plan on joining us for a meal at the conference
-- Cash for food vendors (some accept credit cards, but not all). There is an ATM at (coming soon)
-- Sunscreen/hat/sunglasses if you wish to sit outside during lunch
-- Shoes you're comfortable dancing in if you'll join us for square dancing and reggae music
-- A reusable water bottle Note-taking supplies Your friends and family!
-- Your wonderful self and a willingness to learn, participate, and meet new people
