Moving Beyond Anxiety & Stress
Wednesdays: May 10th-June 28th, 7:00-9:30pm
*Orientation: May 3rd (7-9:00pm)
*Mindfulness Daylong: June 17th (9:45-5:00)
Participants will learn mind/body awareness techniques and gain tools that allow for more ease in meeting daily stress, physical ailments/illness, emotional symptoms, and unresolved anxieties.
This course is designed around the methods of Jon Kabat-Zinn and Rik Center’s mindfulness and trauma background, work and training.
Participants learn about habituated reactions to stress/anxieties and how to change their response to create a more balanced life. Experience the power of embodying mindfulness practices to rejuvenate your wellbeing!
